Moss Rock is naturally sourced sandstone from the Texas Hill Country. Rock harvested above ground is brownish in color and will often have mosses growing on the exposed face, hence the name Moss Rock. However, Moss Rock is also mined sub-surface with no moss but is still commonly referred to as Moss Rock.
These rocks vary in color from dark-brown, light-brown, reddish-brown, orangish-brown and tans depending on the depth they are mined. All Moss Rock come in irregular shapes with sizes ranging from 1” to 6” thick.
